The bread was excellent. It was the best part of our meal on that day. Our food was not good. I got the chicken fried steak and it was like rubber. And really oily. My wife got the chicken strip dinner and they was cold and really dry. We will not ever go back.....
Absolutely loved the BBQ plate. Great portions at a great price. Would definitely recommend eating here after taking the Talimena Scenic Drive!
Amazing food! We tried the sirloin steak and the half rack of ribs. It was amazing! The half rack of ribs was huge! The sides that came with our meals were more than we could eat and also very delicious. They have a bread bar full of lots of different kinds of fresh baked roll and breads! The waitress was very friendly. They had a whole display case full of delicious looking pies and cheesecake slices in lots of different flavors!
I was very favorably impressed by this place. Me and a friend dined here after visiting the Ouachita Mountain area. It’s a curious place - very comfortable and casual inside, and of course the first thing you see is a refrigerated case full of very tempting desserts. The grilled chicken breast I had was delicious, as were the sides (REAL beef gravy, not something scraped out of a can)
I ordered a side salad & their famous Smokehouse Potato Soup. The old brown lettuce out me off the salad. And who ever put together the soup must of run out. It was horrible. Too much potato skin, liquid smoke & no potatoes. Some kind of thin lunch meat cut in rectangles. The only thing that saved my part of the meal was the bread bar & marinara sauce.
