While the cabins were a little dated, there's no cell service and there is no cable, I enjoyed this place. The large, 2-story cabin we were in was adorable.
We loved the deck at the River Lodge cabin! They are still updating everything but it's a nice little place to stay.
The trails are close and you can ride right to them on your ATV/OHV. We hope to come back soon.
These folks are super nice and very helpful and accommodating. We stayed in River House and it was very comfortable. I do believe some updating is needed, and I think that is in the works. The deck is the best part - right over the river, which was perfect for swimming. The ATV trails are it's main draw, so if you have one this is perfect for you. If sporadic bursts of ATV mufflers bother you, you may wish to stay somewhere else...overall, it wasn't bad at all, but some people may wish for total solitude. Total: 5 star trip!

Great, Roger the owner has a great breakfast at the cafe and makes you feel welcome. Just a skip away from Wolf Pen Gap. Have stayed at Sugar Creek Lodge five times and just booked the river lodge which the deck over river has been redone.
